New for 2022, the decade-old-plus Rally on the Rocks (ROTR) moved from UTV-unfriendly Moab to southwestern Utah’s Sand Hollow State Park, and the May 11th-13th jamboree became the HCR SxS Adventure Rally on the Rocks. Due to the anti-ROTR sentiment of Grand County, the last ROTR was held south of Moab. Essentially, the SxS Adventure ROTR replaced the November SxS Adventure Rally and moved to the traditional ROTR dates. READ MORE

For the sixth year, promoters of the spring Moab Rally on the Rocks (ROTR) have also promoted a fall rock-crawler jamboree at southwestern Utah’s Sand Hollow State Park. The 6th SxS Adventure Rally had three days of guided rides on spectacular and challenging red-rock trails, a large vendor area with jamboree specials and product donations for raffles, Veterans Day observance, daily breakfasts by Camp Chef, a Friday-night dinner with raffle, and manufacturer and aftermarket demo rides. Utah is the land of Oz for UTVs and ATVs, and the state has a host of the best rallies and jamboree gatherings found anywhere. One of the most popular UTV-only events is the Rally on the Rocks (ROTR), and ROTR promoter Lanse Churnos was looking for another opportunity for a successful rock-crawling and trail event to hold in addition to Moab.
